Kiran was born and raised in England. She completed her Law LLB at the University of Nottingham, UK. She then then went on to complete the Legal Practice course at the College of Law in Birmingham, UK.

Kiran moved to Calgary from England in 2010. Upon completing her National Committee on Accreditation Exams, she commenced her articles in November 2010 and was called to the Alberta bar in December 2011.

During her articles, Kiran found her passion in family law, finding it particularly rewarding to assist clients during one of the most challenging times in their lives. As a result, she proceeded to open her own family law practice.

In 2013, Kiran merged with another firm in Calgary as a family law lawyer. In 2015, while actively practising family law, she was successful in obtaining a position as a Federal Crown Agent with the Public Prosecution of Canada (PPSC). Kiran assisted the PPSC as a Federal Crown Agent in the prosecution of Controlled Drugs and Substances Act charges. Kiran has appeared in the Provincial Court and Court of Queen’s Bench in relation to family and criminal files. Kiran enjoys using her extensive litigation experience to assist clients when alternative dispute resolution may no longer be an option.

Kiran has 3 young children. In any available time, she can be found in her local gym and spending time with her family. Kiran is of an east Indian background and can speak Punjabi fluently.

Kiran is familiar with all aspects of separation and divorce; she enjoys assisting clients through what can be a stressful and challenging time. Kiran aims to reduce conflict and resolve matters in a cost-effective manner wherever possible.
