My experience with Oakley Family law was fantastic! Stephen handled my separation matters quickly and professionally, while being very personable and friendly. Him and Michelle ensured that the whole process was understandable and easy and they were always available to answer my questions. I am very pleased with the service I received here and highly recommend Oakley Family Law! – L.K.
Stephen Whitehead joined Oakley Family Law in 2019, after spending the prior two years with a leading downtown Family Law firm in Calgary. He earned his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University after completing his Bachelors of Arts in French Literature from the University of Calgary. With Stephen’s background in French Language, he is able to assist our clients in English or French. Stephen has appeared at both the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta. He has developed a practical and cost-effective approach wherein he seeks to minimize unnecessary conflict between opposing litigants. Stephen seeks to bring parties together to minimize the financial burden of separation, so that the “new normal” can be one that your family can live with, and thrive in. Stephen likes to set short-term and long-term goals, and set a clear course of action for clients so that we have the best possible chance to meet those goals.
In his spare time Stephen can be found at spin class (shout out to the YYC Biker Gang), boxing aerobics classes, golfing, and at local farmers markets in his quest to make delicious food of all kinds!
Giving Back to the Community
