Mediation is a non-binding alternative dispute resolution process. Our goal is to assist parties in coming to an agreement that is satisfactory to both of you. Mediation is not adversarial; rather, the objective is to try to reach a functional settlement that works for everyone.

Family mediation is a cost-effective and efficient method of resolution to keep parties out of Court. The process is confidential, respectful, and can focus on the issues that matter the most to you.

Our experienced lawyers can provide family law mediation services in the following areas:

• decision making
• parenting, communication, and contact
• guardianship
• child support
• spousal support
• property division

You may choose to have a lawyer represent you in mediation or not; however, you are encouraged to obtain independent legal advice before signing any agreement. While our mediators are lawyers, we cannot provide you with legal advice and mediate at the same time. Instead, as mediators, we can provide an informed and educated approach to resolution and provide legal information along the way. At this time, our priority is to provide mediation services to self-represented individuals to improve access to justice.

Our mediators charge $300 per hour + GST. Retainers will be determined based on the needs of the parties.
